Tips on how to
Visualize your space
When designing a kitchen, one of the hardest things to do is visualize your space again for the first time. As a designer we have the advantage of seeing your space for the first time. An important part of the design process is taking valuable input from our clients and using that information to create a more functional layout suited to the homeowners while improving the overall aesthetics.
It’s a welcomed challenge and we can appreciate that every kitchen and homeowner has their own set of circumstances relating to budget, timelines, preferences, style and the list goes on… Given that it may be a bit like designing outside the box when we recommend moving an appliance or removing a wall or both! Understandably homeowners may have a hard time visualizing the new possibilities but that’s where we come in. We have the added benefit of using our experience to see the potential in almost any space and conveying that to the end user. In the end, it’s our job to tap into our clients wish list and turn their space into something they will love for years to come. Of course, an integral part of designing your space is trusting your designer to help you through this process, but that’s a completely different discussion!
